We need help with coffee hour set-up, baking, reading scripture during the service, ushering and greeting. At this time of becoming a new church, we are aiming at doing "Worship" well. We do not have the manpower yet for other programs. If you have a passion for a ministry, please let us know. Volunteer Duties Description
Read Scripture During Service: Obtain verses from Pastor. Read verses during service. Arrive by 9:50 am.
Usher: Collect Offerings, Direct Communion if needed, help people find a seat or direction if needed. Arrive by 9:50 am.
Coffee Hour Treats for 20 & Set up: Bring ready to serve treats for about twenty people for coffee hour. Arrive at 9:30 am to make regular and decaf coffee. Have hot water ready for tea. Make sure paper products are stocked on tables for service. Prepare creamer and juice for distribution. Oversee and help with cleanup.

Garden & Weed the Flowers: Pull weeds, generally monitor the church flowers, trees and plants. Does not matter which day it is actually done, it should be in good shape for Sunday. This should be done once a month or as needed.
Lawn Care: Cut grass, weedwack, generally monitor the church grounds. Lawn mowers are available at the church for use. Contact Tod Tuttle for more information: 810-650-6776. Present Media Shout during Service: Requires some knowledge of Media Shout. Arrive at 9:00 am to verify all slides are in order. Run an announcement presentation from 9:40 am - 9:58 am. Possibly play music from Windows Media if sound person does not. Review with Pastor the order of service and any special requirements he may have for presentation. (Needed July 4th and August 1st or more if desired).
Media Shout Creation: Requires knowledge of Media Shout. Obtain information from Worship Team (Rob Haugh). Review order of service from bulletin, songs from Rob and adjust and create presentation as needed to create a flow of worship. One should be present during band practice to go through songs-usually at 6:00pm on Thursdays.
